CHRISTMAS PARTY AND MORE

 

Here Ryan watching a movie with Aubs while recovering from his nose surgery (Background:Ryan broke his nose playing basketball a few years ago where his nasal septum obstructed his left airway til the point he couldn't sleep. He can't breath fully yet but he gets a lot better each day. By next week he should be fully recovered). 

 

Aubrey's outfit this last Sunday. I made her skirt and recreated the rest of the outfit. So CUTE!

 

I gave Aubrey this huge lolly pop so that she would let me finish up the Christmas Dinner. Well, after a bunch of licks she decided she is done with it...had enough :) I have never seen Aubrey had enough of candy.

And this was our VIP section. We loved having everything handy! This dinner was a lot of work but it was sooo worth it! now I know why older moms have 2 ovens in their house...THEY NEED IT for large meals. I wish I also had two sometimes... The Menu consisted of: Home made rolls, homemade sweet jams, homemade stuffing, homemade mashed potatoes with home made gravy, ham, corn, strawberry chicken salad and a few more things. (Notice I said "homemade...well yeah! It took me 4 1/2 hrs to reproduce this!)

 I love Janet's wrapping! This turned out to be a jug that counts your coins as you put them in. How cool! She comes up with the funnest ideas!

 This was also a Happy surgery, happy B-day and Christmas dinner. Janet is having a tonsillectomy, it was Bretts and Jason's B-day. So, decided to have Christmas a little earlier this year and opened a few presents. Aubrey got a "Music in a box" with a bunch of percussion instruments, this work out Giraffe, Princess Luffas and soap and a trampoline with the safety walls in them (WOW grandma!!) she loves it and by next year we wont be able to fit in the basement everything Grandma comes up with for Christmas :)

MORE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT ...

 

We went to the Ogden Christmas lights for FHE. Aubrey started to appreciate Christmas stuff this year so it was fun to see her get so excited!

And Ryan got Jazz tickets for January from his work. He gets to take 3 people with him (needles to say I am one of them :o) and another Geneva Rock customer with his wife. We are so excited since these tickets don't come along often (our first time). They are $1,200.00 a piece and we get to seat right behind the Jazz players! The first ticket starts with Row 1 seat 1....AHHHHHH!!!  I told Ryan I am buying a of couple basketballs and will try to have a player or two sign them for my bros. They will dye if I got to do this! So, this is probably the best Christmas gift EVER!

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

 

It all started with "The Snow Storm" that canceled classes at WSU

Watched movies (LOTS). This picture was after my last final. I was pooped :)

 

Got our Christmas tree up and wrapped all presents

 Santa got us our family Christmas gift soon with a huge lovesac.

Aubrey loves it! and Ryan loves it even more :O Never thought it would be this comfortable

 

Aubrey had a little bump on her cheek. Just went down stairs way tooo fast! 

 Got creative and made this cute Sunday skirt for Aubrey. I never have time to sew or make stuff so I am now making a few things I have been wanting to for a long time :)

Aubrey found her Binky! What? Where? How? Not sure but she didn't find the next day. My bad?!?

For Christmas this year we are giving more sentimental gifts than any other gift. We realized that Ryan's bros and sis haven't had a picture together for a long time. We decided it was time for family pictures again!
