OUR BASKETBALL HOOP IS UP! & more
Well, the Basketball hoop wrapper was a little too optimistic because it took not only 2 persons but 7!Bro. Frost, Rob Hohman, Stetson Hohman and his buddy, Greg, Ryan and Mell. It paid off! It was quite fast although the guys worked out their arms like you wouldn't believe!
Aubrey inspecting the work being done :D
Ryan regretting not going to the gym more often, JK!
And they had to play after it was oficially up, right? They sure had a good time! Including Aubrey who's mommy had mercy upon her that night and let her stay up til 10!
Aubrey's 1st handmade Pizza! She loved it! Anything she gets to create or make with her hands she is all game for! and she ate pretty well. This is what I call a win-win situation.
Yes, we finally got a BBQ! Memorial day was a big shopping day for us! Here to the first meal BBQed: Pineapple! So yummy...more please!

SUMMER FUN
Here we are at our friend's house celebrating their baby girl blessing. They had an inflatable castle and Aubrey was afraid of the vacuum sound that came from it. So our friend Landon put on her this ear covers to help her not be so afraid. She still didn't want to jump in the castle but was okay to walk by it. We made progress that day.
Playing with cousin Ronin. They play so well together. She really liked playing with his toys.
Spider Man glasses.
And posing after her first swimming lesson. What a success! she was not afraid of the water as much after this parent-child class. She has her 3rd class tomorrow. She is so excited she reminds me 3 days before her class that she is going swimming at the big pool :)
Being a happy camper while running errands with mommy.
THE DISNEY STORE
We went to the City Creek Mall for the first time a few weeks ago. We shopped at the Disney store among some. Aubrey had a real blast! That store is super entertaining...the down fault is that kids never want to leave so Aubrey, like others exited the store crying. Her favorite area: The princess dresses. She tried them all on!
This is a magic princess mirror that turns on a short clip about a princess when you dance by it. Or at least that what I gathered...
This was Aubrey's happy place! Hence her huge smiles!
She then became "Princess Aubrey", as she calls herself. Adorable!
OUR FAMILY
We watched Your, Mine and Ours for FHE last Monday. Aubrey and I gifted that movie to Ryan for father's day along with some candy typical from Spain (best thing ever!) that I was able to spot out at Amazon (love that store!). We like to cuddle when watching movies. We don't even think about it but always end up like in this picture, close to each other. That a super cute movie. Probably our favorite yet!
MY DADDY
Aubrey has always been really attached to her daddy. To prove it a few more shots. This is a Sunday nap. Aubrey just wanted to cuddle at first but she felt for the nap seconds later. Something about being by Ryan relaxes you...can't not even explain it. He is just warm and cozy.
Love that Ryan's mouth is wide open while sleeping.
THis picture was taken last Sunday at Grandpa Mell and grandma Gen's house. They live in Heber City. We decided to go there for a Father's Day BBQ dinner. We loved chillin' outside. Aubrey rode all the grand kid's bikes. She also got a hold of a little music toy and decided to show a few moves along with Grandma Gen. It was fun to watch her.
DUSTIN THOMAS
This is Dustin Thomas. He is one of Ryan's good friends from High School Him and his wife invited us to a BBQ at their house to catch up. They are super cool people and loved spending time with them. Here is a shot to prove it. Ryan had a real blast! The things he did back in High School. I got to know him a whole lot better :)
MOMMY AND ME
Not the best picture of me but we are both smiling so it is priceless! So very thankful for my little love Aubrey. She is everything to me! Love her personality (although a little too sassy at times) she is so very sweet, loves to craft, loves to be read to, loves to sing and learn songs (specially pop songs such as "One Direction" ones). She is so girly is getting funny (where there is a skirt there is a way...pretty much!) She discovered my make up so here and there she applies a bit on her sweet little cheeks. She is so coordinated and kicks the ball like you wouldn't believe! She also loves to play outside and throw rocks anywhere! Loves to jump in the tramp, and is no longer afraid of swimming! (thank goodness for parent-child swimming lessons). She is my dream come true! I love you so much my sweet little Aubrey!
BRACES
1 more year to go is what comes to mind at this point. So grateful they are white and so happy that I get to have a straight smile pretty soon! But, they have hurt so badly...so worth it...
ABBY
This is Abby. We go way back. We were roommates back in '04-'05 in Ogden. We both graduated from the Dental Hygiene program. She is so sweet and Christ Like! I just think the world of her. Here we are at the City Creek Mall in Salt Lake. We had lunch at Kneaders (what a place!) and caught up with each other. I am so excited she is getting married! Can't wait to see her in white. Love you Abby!
P.S. Aubrey tagged along. She loved the Disney store. Soon to post that experience :)
WORK PALS
Here we are at Maddox for lunch. From left to right: Shawna (front desk), Kimberly (DA), Brenna (DA), Sarah (DA) and Me (RDH). Oh man, how I love these girlies! It makes work so much fun!
GRANDPA MELL B-DAY
Aubrey picked the candle which reflects grandpa's young age within :)
Pretty clever, huh? A hat that actually fits his head!
And a little fun with Aubrey :)

Cancun Gateway II
This is a Cenote: a sink of natural water. You could scooba dive there but we didn't have enough time to explore that option. We loved the fact that you could see all kinds of fishes swimming deeper in the cenote. We had a blast! Love Ryan's jump pictures. What a stud!
More beach near the Cenote.
Cute little home. I wouldn't mind living there :)
And thirsty again. More cold cocos our way :)
And more beach fun to seal Ryan's B-day party. He was playing like a kid. These pictures are a proof of it!
That day we had dinner at the Krystal Restaurant (at our hotel). That food was the weirdest we have ever had!
These were the appetizers. What is this?!?
Raw beef meat. Yeah...I don't think so...
Snaper fish dish. It was pretty good although the sauce was way too sugary. We felt weird after dinner. And, to top it off this was my dessert plate. Not sure what it was and it wasn't that good either but I ate it because I was hungry and determine at that point.
We decided we don't like fancy all that much after all :) P.S. Had room service food before bed to make up for the weird experience.
And this is the picture Ryan took of me. I was thinking he could get me with the pretty picture background, but instead he lined me up so that the rocks would look like this: on top of my head. Creative? Funny? not sure what to call it.
Okay, this is the "Green Piss" guy. He is the waiter that walked around our tables while the show was going on for the night asking us what we wanted to drink. I asked for a "Green Peace" drink off the menu since it was one of the little No-alcohol options. Well, He wrote his order from me in a paper pad where I could see it. He didn't know English much (And I ordered in Spanish) but given the English spelling title he gave it a try. He started spelling GREEN..then wrote a P.....paused for a second troubled on how to spell the rest of the word...and finished with a ISS...so I ordered a "GREEN PISS" instead of a green peace. We couldn't have laughed harder. Mexicans man....!
Below: The green piss.
Photo at our last show in our hotel. So much fun!
We came to our room to this almost every day. What a cool way to assemble your towels!
Below, heading out for "Isla Muejeres"...(The women Island).
This is a view of our hotel Riu Peninsula.
Our Ferry entertainment guy. He sang one "Bamba" song, a couple others...bit up his guitar on 3 more songs and called it good. They all want tips and money and will do anything for it. I kinda liked his custom...or typical mariachi clothing? I was confused at that point :)
And rented a scooter to tour the island around. The. funnest. experience. EVER!!!!
And this is the picture that shows where Christopher Columbus arrived for the first time and discovered Mexico...or better said: The Americas. So, being the cool spot that it was I petitioned to Ryan that he asks me to marry him again. He did! He went down on one knee and looking at me in the eye asked me to marry him again!
The after "YES" asnwer photo. I am so in love with my husband is ridiculous! I love you so much honey!
And lunch at the popular Mango Café. The best fish mango tacos ever made!
Touring the north beach. This was so exclusive and calm and pretty! it was shallow for 50 feet into the water I wanted to scream of happiness! We decided we are coming here to this island next time we make it over to Cancun! P.S. Beach sand bike. Hilarious!
One of the pictures from our hotel general buffet. I never took pictures of our buffet area but it was just amazing. I almost felt bad we had that much food to choose from! But glad at the same time :)
These pictures above are from the Disco "Coco Bongo". Ryan and I like to dance and this club had it all! It was an entertainment huge show with music in between! We had all these singers imitate and sing and dress like Maddona, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga...also had Spider Man and The Mask hang from the ceiling and dance around...we had Beatle juice (he was a migit) fight with Spider man's enemy....okay, we were laughing so hard at that point we were hurting big time. Man, what a show!!!!!!
Shopping at the Mall. I ate so much that you can see my round belly full of Italian food! Ha!
Pictures before we left...it was the funnest trip we have had in years! Thanks to Ryan who's turn to choose was this year! Oh man, he knows how to plan a vacation!
